Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of the people, institutions, and communities that have been involved in Inside-Out over the last 25+ years. This event will combine the unique pedagogical approach of the Inside-Out program with the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of educators, former inside and outside students, and others from throughout the US and several other countries.
Beginning and concluding at the historic Mitten Hall on Temple University’s campus in Philadelphia, PA, the 25th+ Anniversary will provide the opportunity to meet new friends, connect with old acquaintances, and both celebrate and share some of the many creative initiatives developed over the years.
After a welcome reception Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday will feature day-long programming that will include hands-on activities, artistic performances, workshops, panels, and presentations.
Monday will end with an optional dinner and celebration at The Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center (PICC), the actual facility where the Inside-Out program began in Fall 1997.
Tuesday night will feature an awards ceremony, a keynote speaker, and concluding thoughts as we consider Inside-Out over the next 25 years.
